Mariesa Greene (ex Avenir) signs at Santeras

Mariesa Greene

BSNF newcomer Santeras de Aguada landed 29-year old American small forward Mariesa Greene (183-87, college: Barry). She played most recently at Avenir in French LF2 league. In 22 games she averaged 13.8ppg and 8.0rpg last season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com French LF2 All-Imports Team and Honorable Mention.
Among other achievements Greene's team won Slovenian Cup in 2014. She received also Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Import Player of the Year award back in 2012.
Greene is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Germany (Eisvogel Freiburg), Switzerland (Pully), Belgium (Point Chaud) and Slovenia (Triglav).
Greene attended Barry University until 2010 and it will be her seventh season in pro basketball.
She is described as: She can play good on two position, Small Forward and Power Forward.
